NURSE EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Delta Chi Chapter-At-Large is seeking nominations for chapter Nurse Excellence Awards. The awards will be granted to nurses who are members of Delta Chi and meet the criteria listed below. Each recipient will receive an award certificate accompanied by a honorium. Awardees will be honored at the Spring Luncheon, Induction and Awards Ceremony on April 2008.

Excellence in Nursing Practice:

Excellence in Nursing Management:

• Leadership in nursing through creative approaches
• Demonstrates breadth of knowledge in nursing administration or management
• Possesses management expertise
• Participates in the development of nursing leaders
• Creates an environment that enhances the image of nursing
• Demonstrates a leadership role in fostering professional standards

Excellence in Nursing Education:

Excellence in Nursing Research:

• Conducts research in nursing
• Communicates nursing research findings
• Encourages research activities within Sigma Theta Tau, nursing or public
• Presents scholarly work related to nursing practice, theory, or research

Excellence in Community Service:
